Great atmosphere , great food.
My favorite restaurant in the area. The food is delicious and the portions allow for a great lunch the following day. The wait staff is always A+. I enjoy the quiet atmosphere, it’s a great place to bring a date, you are able to hear each other talk. (I did see one review complaining about loud kids…I think that’s rare, because I have been here countless times and never encountered anything like that) Overall, I think Marcos is a far better choice than “the other” Italian restaurant downtown that is always loud. Better food, better prices and better staff.
Classic Italian restaurant
Varied menu with many classic Italian dishes. Knowledgeable servers. Excellent eine list. I ordered linguine and clams. We’ll seasoned and favorable. My wife had lasagna. Perfect. Desert was tiramisu. It was not as sweet as I was used to. But still ok. This is one of the best restaurants on Lewiston.
A forgotten gem
My wife and I had our anniversary dinner here and the entire meal and experience was excellent. We started with a potato skin appetizer which was really good. A tangy sauce accompanied and it matched well. Salads were fresh and refreshing. The dressings for both had a house made quality to them. Warm bread hit the spot nicely. My wife had the Tour of Italy and enjoyed it very much. I sampled the lasagna…great flavor. I had the pork osso buco, twin shanks, tender with a marsala sauce and mushrooms. Great result. The dish came with red skinned mashed potatoes and carrots. Both were really delicious. Service was great and the whole experience set the mood for a very pleasant rest of the night. A big thanks to the staff at Marco’s for helping us make our special evening a big success.
Best Italian Restaurant in L/A
Always great service every time we visit. The best part is that you can get a great meal and it doesn’t feel so stuffy that you can’t bring the kids. I have never had a bad meal here either. Excellent Excellent food! Kudos to the staff and management!
